“ Pizza by the slice. It was amazing. It was late night cravings. We were walking around trying to head back to the hotel and stopped here. ”

Brooklyn's Homeslice? Solid. The crust tastes like it was fermented, it's crisp, airy, doughy in all the right ways. The sauce is tart, maybe a touch sweet, and the cheese pulls just right. The folks behind the counter have the sort of no nonsense kindness that tells you you're in good hands. They're mostly a takeout operation, but I visited on a warm night and sat at one of the little round tables they have set up outside. Try the grandma slice and their mushrooms and onion slice for a good time. ”

“ Homeslice's grandma pizza is really good. Crust is not your paper thin NY style slice and has the perfect balance of crunch and chew. I liked that the sauce is very slightly chunky with tomato bits. They don't skimp on the sauce either. At $30 per pie, it's a little expensive for the somewhat small size of the pie. The calzone and the pie weren't as hot as I expected them to be upon delivery, but I recognize that's not necessarily because of Homeslice. If you eat in, they have one indoor table and a couple of picnic tables outside. ”
“ Solid slice! I am a connoisseur of pepperoni pizza. Important factors that I consider: grease level should be low to non existent, pepperoni should be thin and crispy, crust should be thin and crispy, balance of sauce and cheese should be the same, ingredients should be fresh, sauce should have a slight tang. Service is very important. Place should be clean. So we will start with the service was quick and painless, they gave me my requested items. Clean place. Balances were perfect, roni and slice were thin crispy and fresh. Slice had no grease. Ingredients were quality and fresh. Sauce could've been alittle more flavorful! See you next time! ”
“ Wow just wow this was the best boneless cheese slice I've had in a while, so yesterday at work a friend had a cheese slice and it smelled so good asked her where she got it from and as soon as I clocked out I walked fast to the pizza spot, spot was pretty cool my friend told me I always walk by it but I honestly don't pay attention when I'm focused on getting somewhere I walk super fast. But anyways got my slice and you know it's a good slice when the oil is perfect lol I picked up my slice and it caved in on me that's why I say boneless slice and to me those are the best slices so i definitely will be back for more slices ”
